I found instructions online that said the seeds germinate best in darkness and it would take about 2 weeks for them to sprout. I surface sowed the seeds about a month ago and wrapped the container in an old blanket and put it in the back of a closet. When I checked the container 2.5 weeks later, nothing had germinated. I misted the seeds, wrapped up the container and put them back in the closet. When I check again today, still no signs of life in the container. There is no mold in the container, so I'm not sure what's the problem.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Are the seeds duds?
