It is an annual but don’t know what one
SOLVED: What kind of plant is this
Send it to me. Climbing Snapdragon, an Asarina
Perhaps this one.
I think it is a perennial in agreeable climates, like where I live. I saw it at Annies awhile back. I have also seen the purple one and was in love. But I am easy. I am pretty sure it comes in other in your face colors depending on the species or cultivar.
So are you saying it is a climbing snapdragon or is it the Gloxinia, or are they one in the same.
This is a friend of mines, she bought it in a hanging basket at a local green house that puts together hanging baskets.
Sadly we are in Michigan so unless she takes it in for the winter it won’t survive our winter here.
But I will tell her you would like it if she’s not willing to bring it in for the winter.
If you really want it and she’s willing send your address to me on my Davesgarden page.
ZilyZily she is going to watch for seeds if she can not miss where they form.
That is so nice of you!!! The sad truth about me is that I covet everything beautiful in bloom so I am so out of room. But thank so much!
Lophospermum erubescens is Asarina erubescens is creeping gloxinia
See the link I gave above.
