This looks familiar but I can't place it. I compared the leaves to other things in the yard, but I could not place it. What is it?

It looks like a cherry sapling. Do you have ornamental cherries on or near your property? I get Yoshino seedlings that pop up here and there on our property.
No cherry trees. Maybe a bird dropped it?
