I accomplished nothing today. because of the holiday, there was no one in the ultra sound dept to run my test. So a complete waste of time. They should of told me up front that was the case , no they wanted the money

Gautier, MS

Beautiful blooms Jackie.
Sorry your day and time was wasted.
Hope your next will be better.
Just wanted to wish you all a
Happy New Year!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena.
Happy New Year everyone. Hoping for a better 2022.

(Linda Kay) Del Rio, TX(Zone 9a)

Oh my. Hard to believe with all your symptoms, they couldn't help you. Keeping you in our prayers.

Happy new year everyone.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I agree LInda, just ridiculous.
The worst thing is that they wouldn't even call in a person to do the ultra sound like they don't have anyone on call and just don;t care. Told me to try and get in to my regular heart Dr as soon as possible, smh

(Linda Kay) Del Rio, TX(Zone 9a)

Praying you can get in to see someone soon.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda. I'll start calling Monday to my regular heart Dr.

Gautier, MS

Jackie, hope you are doing okay and feeling better and got hold of your doctor to be checked out. Let us know.
It's been way too cold for me these last few days. But my mg seedlings are doing great inside under lights, only 3 are not.

Helena I'll try to call today, I do feel better but Mon and Tues were so hectic I didn't get a chance to call Kinda put out with them since I called the other day when I felt so bad and they just said he's out of the office. They didn't offer me any other options like seeing another Dr.
Your seedlings look great. Mine look very weak by comparison.
The bitter cold will be back here by tomorrow and Friday., I dread it. Higs in the 30's
and down possibly in the teens. We have electric blankets for my 2 outside cats and
my dog has one too.

(Linda Kay) Del Rio, TX(Zone 9a)

Beautiful plants Jackie. Sorry you haven't been able to see the Dr yet. Hope you can get into see one soon.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Me too Linda.

Gautier, MS

Hope you get to call soon Jackie. Glad you feel a bit better.
It's warming up here now but I don't know about this weekend.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena,
We have very cold temps coming tonight and tomorrow night.
Won't get above 35 here today. and tomorrow.

Gautier, MS

It's a beautiful sunny warm day here today.
Love it, it's perfect.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Wish I could be there to enjoy the warm temps Helena.
My Blue Lav Beauty # 1 and 2 opened a bloom in the g house this am. It's throat isn't the right color but I don't care, just wanted some blooms and happy to have Any blooms
Ochracea
My lovely Phantom begonia liking the cooler temps in the g house

Beautiful blooms Jackie. I'm glad they bloomed for you.
It didn't last long, it started to get cold last
night but the sun is out so maybe it warm up a bit. At least 2 maybe 3 more months to go with winter.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena. I'll be hoping for an early spring
My electric blanket went out on the front porch last night. It is for my
Peaches who doesn't like to come inside. She's the weirdest cat I've ever owned, afraid of everything, She will be 16 in March and we still can't hardly pet her or even pick her up even though I've been taking care of her her whole life.
I'm going to check Wal Mart on line for a new blanket.

(Linda Kay) Del Rio, TX(Zone 9a)

Beautiful blooms Jackie.
Our Temps the past few night was down to 30, mid 60's in the afternoon.
Supposed to be about 10 degrees or so higher for the weekend.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

That sounds wonderful Linda.

Gautier, MS

I have a cat like that, she doesnt like other cats or dogs. Only 2 people in family can pick her up. Though I'm the one that feeds her. But I get my exercise letting pets in and out every day.
It got a little warmer today. Hope it warms up you and Linda.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena, 104.00 for a king size electric at Wal Mart. the only size my local store had left. So I went home and put an old electric blanket that could go out at any time on her bed and she slept on it. I'll keep looking for a new twin size
When I can catch her and bring her in she cries and cries till we can't get any sleep.
So I finally have to let her out I
spend a lot of time letting pets in and out too. :-)
I had a pink mg open in the g house this morning

Hard to believe the prices have gone up so much on everything we need.

Beautiful pink morning glory.

Gautier, MS

Love your beautiful mg Jackie.
That's expensive, there's a shortage of things that we need. Hope you find one Jackie.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks ladies.
Someone told me a couple of places to look. I'll try to get that done today

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I did lose some of the large buds on the unknown Brug. This looks like a split bud but when I checked tonight, it was a double white or soft yellow. I can tell more about the color tomorrow. I have no idea where I got this Brug. I didn't purchase one of this color!!!

Ochracea
Pink mg trying to wilt, this one doesn't seem to like the temp in the g house
The double brug, a complete surprise
The bloom beside it didn't open properly.. I think this burg is a mutant

Beautiful blooms Jackie. Amazing new brug you have. Maybe a bird dropped it off?

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda. The only thing is I didn't grow it from seed. I bought it at the Farmers Market most likely. It was probably mixed in with their single yellow brugs but
obviously a double.. I dont have one this color, a two tone.
I'll check in the morning to see if its blooms are still the same color

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

My white and yellow brug has changed colors today.
Its a soft pink and the one that looked split yesterday looks really strange
today
# 3 is one that didn't drop its skirt, so here's a shot from below of the pink center
The split bloom
the color yesterday

That's a beautiful brug bloom. Nice surprise for you.

Did you ever get an appointment to see the Dr?

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda.
I'm going next week. I just didn;t try to move it any closer because I've had one problem after another here. If he wont check my tricuspid valve leak to see if its any worse, I'll have to find another Dr. .

(Linda Kay) Del Rio, TX(Zone 9a)

Praying you get answers quickly.

Gautier, MS

Pretty blooms and colors Jackie. Unusual blooms too.
Hope you get good answers fro. Your Dr.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks girls.
My regular PCP checked on me when they saw I was in the Er but not my heart Dr.
Guess they can't be bothered

This small blue mg has been opening a bloom every once in a while but they're always very small
The new brug bloom and the aged blooms behind it, they darkened to a peachy pink
Hard to believe they first looked like this last pic

They are beautiful.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda.

Gautier, MS

Glad you are getting blooms too Jackie.
I checked my vines in gh and and some are not looking good or happy with the cold temps. Though I did see a tiny bud on one vine.
Here's a sweet pepper pic I took the other day.

That looks like a very hot pepper.
