Two bugs for ID

I put the black one on water for this photo.

The small reddish beetle is a lady beetle (Coccinellidae); it looks like a Rodalia sp. – see and for examples. Just FYI, “…about 550 species known under 90 genera, 16 tribes, and two subfamilies. The Indian fauna has not been studied in detail due to the lack of collections spanning the entire country, including its biodiversity hotspots.”
The other one appears to be a water scavenger beetle (Hydrophilidae) – see I do not believe that a more specific identification will be possible.
