SOLVED: coramandel?

unknown shrub/vine? does it look in the thumberga family?

It sure looks like it could be in the thunbergia family. Not only looking at the bloom, but the leaves are what reminds me that it could be. I love the color of it.


Do you have any more information such as size, what situation it grows in etc? The flowers look like they are quite small on the photo.

the flowers are a little smaller than a quarter, and if the plant is left to its own desires will take over at will. he described it as a viny shrub which was great in a hanging basket. thanks Baa.

I still can't find it but will keep an eye out. (Coramandel wood is from the genus Diospyros, is that a name you were given for it?)
