Plumeria rubra. A magnificent flower indeed, but who cooked up the name "Jasmine Mango" for this plant? It is not related to either as far as I can acertain. Misleading to say the least. There are already well over a hundred varieties according to Sunset Western Garden Book with names like Aztec Gold, Hawaiian Yellow and the like. Using names of other plant species (Jasmine, Mango) only leads to confusion. There is another species of Frangipani: Plumeria obtusa, which is a very tropical plant native to S. Mexico and Central America. The leaves are not pointed as in rubra but the tips are rounded.
