1930 - Country Corn Pickers

Frederick, MD(Zone 6a)

As I'm putting together the photos for my Grandma's 100th, I found this one of my Great-Grandma, her friend and my uncle, aunt, Dad and uncle.

Dea, that is such a great family photo. It appears that digging in the dirt runs in your family! Nat

Wonderful, what a candid shot. Don't you just love running across these things from the past???

MERCER, PA(Zone 5a)

Dea, your photo is priceless!
Your poor ol' Dad and his brothers look like they would rather be ANYWHERE other than in that cornfield. Your Aunt seems to be a little "bit" more agreeable with the situation. Their shyness in front of the camera is adorable.
And God Bless your Grandma on her 100th birthday.

What a wonderful treasure you have there! They worked so hard for so little. None of them look very happy, just tired. I hope your Grandma has a very happy birthday.

Hey, how'd I miss this? What a cool photo, Dea. I think it's great you have a picture of your ancestors in their beloved cornfield.
