I noticed this plant in another picture (the picture was about a Geranium, I think, and these were on the back), and I was about to ask what was that second plant ^.^

Longfield, Kent, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

Yes, it was at the back of Geranium maderense.
This Echium comes from the Canary Islands and given a sunny spot and poorish, non-waterlogged soil grows readily from seed. It must have a frost free position, otherwise grow under glass. Plants are biennial ( or at any rate monocarpic)

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

WOW! how tall are they?

Longfield, Kent, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

About 2.5 metres I guess.

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

Beautiful. They must be stunning to see in person.

Jacksonville, IL(Zone 5a)

Those are just wonderful plants! I've never seen anything like them! Thanks for posting the photo. I saw them too in the geranium photo and wondered about them then.

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

This is the first time I have seen a plant like this. They remind me of natures own Christmas tree in it`s full glory.

St. John's, NL(Zone 5b)

Now THAT'S one funky-looking plant! Spectacular!
