I have never seen sago palms this large. Thank you for posting this great photo.

there are large ones like these in downtown Charleston, beaufort, and bluffton, SC in fron of older pre- civil war homes. there are also some at plantations that planted exotics in their landscapes, which give us good examples of plants that are mature that we normally wouldnt be able to see. On Cumberland Island , Georgia there is one that is about 20 feet tall at the entrance to the ruins to an old plantation called Dungeness. They have tons of branches and offsets. it is absolutely amazing!
