When I visit Calico Corners their round floor length tablecloths do not have middle seams; they are not 1/2 circles sewn together. Instead the seam is over on the side of the drop of the fabric. What is their method? I was thinking of sewing a tablecloth for my round dining room table like theirs. They are usually double sided (reversable) tablecloths which make them really practical.
anastatia, I have instructions for making a round cloth. It's from JoAnn Fabrics. If you'd like, I could e-mail it to you. I scanned it to my e-mail and really couldn't read it as the letters were too small, so from the e-mail I sent it to my documents where I could enlarge it and it's fine. I made one for my 42" round table,(not a floor length though) It was very easy.
It doesn't show directions for a reversable one, however.
ginlyn, thank you. I can do reversable w/out pattern. yes, please email. Many thanks.
I just tried to send them to you but I don't think they went through.
My internet connection seems to be very slow tonight, so I don't know if that affects mail sent through DG or not. I'll try again tomorrow.
