Great picture and perfect for the database!

Just to be sure of what I have here: P. alkekengi appears not to have felted foliage, right? cuz what I grew last yr from purchased seed, labelled "chinese lantern" was definitely felted, with cream colored bloom, w/ 5 maroon semicircle splotches around center. Think it was P. peruviana from what I've read. Want to be clear, ahead of mine emerging, may need to go get the real thing, I want the lanterns! Here in upstate NY, I have one in one of pots brought in and wintering over under lights. Any clarification, welcome, thanks.
