This is my P.heterophylla, its very rare and I know of only 1 person who has it in the US. However, it is easy to grow and its vigorous.
This is P.'Apasionada'(P. gigantea 'alaba' x moctazumae)
This is also rare in the US, dont know anyone who has it there, since its a European hybrid made by Stan Lampard.
This is D.paradoxa, a rare plant but its easy to grow as long as it gets full sun and frost free conditions.

Drosera paradoxa, Pinguicula heterophylla and P. 'Apasionada
hmmmm my pictures arnt working, anyone have any idea why?
I am going to try my best to explain this to you but please know that I am about a 5 on a scale of 1-100 in computer knowledge.
When I want to share a photo, I save the image to my desktop. I put it there so I can find it but I'm sure there are better ways to do this and I know people here have mentioned just loading an image from their main photo file. When I am ready to post the image, I click on the Browse button below. When I see the photo I want, I double click it and the link will show up in that box below. Then I click preview and a thumbprint size of the image shows up. From there I click send and that's all there is to the process.
People who see your thumbprint can click on it and it will open up to a full size image. This is really great for people who are on dial up (like I used to be) because a thread doesn't get loaded with big images that can take forever to bring up. I really like the way it works here.
That being said, here's an orchid of mine that is blooming right now. All I did after I clicked on preview was make sure it was the right photo, then I scrolled down to below the area was where I could preview my text, and clicked send. My photo now appears in my post.
RedDragon, we could really use some petiolaris complex photos in our PlantFiles here. If I'm not mistaken, I don't believe there is an image for paradoxa that others can view associated with the entry.
I just looked at your urls above. I am not familiar with ImageShack but here you don't need to use a photo hosting site or go between to share an image because they have it set up where they are the hosting site.
Would somebody else help me out here with this or is there a FAQ somewhere that explains how to post photos to a thread and how to post photos to the PlantFiles?
What a lovely spider orchid!!! Those are by far my favorites, but I've staved off getting one until I have more experience with the commoner types that I'm raising now.
Hey Breezy, You might want to check out Home Depot. That's where mine came from. They had an end of season sale. I paid $10. I've had it about a month and it just started blooming again. This particular spider orchid was blooming when I bought it so I didn't expect it to send up a bloom stalk so quick. I bought another one and I had no idea what color it would be. Here's the one I bought from Home Depot for $10 the beginning of July and it just started blooming last week-
