This plant gets large (9 inch) pitchers when it gets older. was given this as a cutting......I grow these for now over the kitchen sink.

I have a thing for large pitchered pitcher plants, I have 2 truncatas, when the mature pitchers come on they are big enough to put your hand down into!!the pitchers on then can reach 14" in length awesome leaves too.

I'm just starting to be interested in the tropical varieties of plants and I'm continually amazed at their incredible shapes and flowers!

Nice pitcher! I love it when people admit to growing these plants in hanging baskets over kitchen sinks. What better place for a plant to get nice doses of humidity than over a kitchen sink! Great plant!
