Feedback on coleus resource thread, please

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Here's a link to the sticky thread, in case you missed it: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/628700/
Same questions I've asked in the other forums where we've done this:

1) Is the sticky thread helpful (i.e., did you learn about a resource you didn't know existed, or how to better use one of the resources it described?)

2) How could it be more helpful?

3) Would you prefer to see this type of thread remain as a "sticky" thread, or linked to a separate page within the description at the top of the forum? (Were you aware of the text at the top of this or other forums? It's a fair question - don't be afraid to say you never read them ;o)

4) Other feedback for us?

Terry,

Thanks so much.

Could we also have links posted to venders that we buy from or use for info....like in Brinda's thread.

There's a link in the resources thread to the Watchdog entries for all Coleus vendors. If you haven't rated the vendors you have purchased from, please do - what you know will help others, including the vendors.

We would really like to have this thread put as a sticky in our forum;
http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/628684/
And yes we know about the garden watchdog where when we post we get harassed by a certain vendors to relent.
Yesterday a fellow coleus addict said only one out of 20 he ordered from that vendor was living.

Please put Brenda's thread as a sticky also
Thanks

Hi Terry,

Was the link to the tutorial on taking coleus cuttings ever put in the sticky thread? I looked for it on there today and couldn't find it. It is a really valuable thread for all coleus growers and I would hate to see it get buried.

Thanks,
Candy

So sorry - I guess I missed it. It's been added to the resources thread ;o)

Thanks, Terry. I know a lot of people will benefit from it.

Hi Terry,

It's been suggested that the "2007 Coleus Leaf Parade" thread I started be considered for a Sticky. I was going to just add a link to the Sticky thread, but I found no place to do that. Here is a link to the thread. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/776428/

I also feel that Traci's (pupilpropogtr) thread "New thread on New babies for Newbie!" be included in the sticky. She's done a wonderful job on commentary, including many photos. Here is a link to the thread. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/770344/

Thank you for your consideration. We appreciate all you do to help keep this THE BEST gardening site on the entire web! When I want to know the correct answers to my gardening questions, I ALWAYS come to Dave's. I garden at Davesgarden.com!

Janet
