Longview, TX(Zone 8a)

It's because of your magic recipe, Josephine! Once I got a little system down, it went pretty fast. The cuphea have done the best so far but they were my experiment rootings so they've been in much longer than anything else. =)

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

Sylvia, you offered to start a Bluebird Hibiscus for me, I do believe.

Carla

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Sylvia,
You had me down for a Flame Vine, but I am not sure you were able to get it to root. Also you were going to bring me a hosta (either Francee or Striptease ).

Is Trois and Debbie going to make our Dallas swap, or are you thinking about the CS in Nov.?

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

I am good for cannas.. for now! THe hosta will be great.

west Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Sylvia--Debbie is not very hard to find

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Hello Debbie, we haven't heard from you for a while, is everything o.k.?
Josephine.

Dallas, TX

Yeah Debbie , dont be darting in out like this ... you know I look forward to reading your memoirs...:) Also i asked you a question about something in another forum ?????

Sheila I get Trois and Ted mixed up sometime... who wanted the Mexican Petunia that you was going to bring too?. even got it potted up.
Sheila I will cut you a piece of the mex Flame vine so you can root your own ... mine didnt take:(

Carla I will do the same for you with the Bluebird ... its so woody you might be able to root it in water.

I will do the cuttings the morning of.

Debbie I got a Purple Trumpet vinewould you like a piece of it?

Maggie I will take your offering of the Sweet Potatoe vine.... I just love the way it wanders all over the place.

Would you believe I thought this gathering was on a saturday. i was telling my coworker this morning and she told me it was a sunday ... which is even better. lol

Most Hostas will be bare root I think.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Sylvia, Ted was wanting the dwarf Mexican Petunia. I am sure he would love whatever you have for him. Bring me the flame vine cutting and I will give it a try. If it doesn't work, maybe someone at the CS RU may have one.

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

I'm rooting 2 Mexican Flame Vines (+ giving the host plant to Debbie). I'll bring them and give them to whoever wants 'em. Or, perhaps if you ask Debbie really nicely, she'll let you take a cutting from her soon-to-be new addition.

Carla

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

Sylvia Will take what ever you have. Thanks Ted
Not posting much as I was going through eye surgery

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Bless your heart Ted!!! I hope everything will turn out well with your surgery.
Josephine.

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

I can see now with no glasses, with my right eye. Now for the other one on the 12th. Then to school on the 20th to take the Master gardner course here.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Good for you Ted!!! I am taking the Master Naturalist course at this time and am really enjoying it.

west Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

dmail me Sylvia--I didn'y see the question on the other forum. Ya'll know how to dmail me if you need to--plenty of folks do it, all the time.

Loonie, you don't have to bring me the mother plant--please, repeat please do not do that! I may only make it to the Nov RU. Cuttings will work fine for me too.

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

Debbie, somebody is going to have to take the mother Mexican Flame Vine. I don't have room for it in my house and it will surely die if left outside this winter. I'll bring it to the gathering and, if need be, give it as a door prize. It's lush and vigorously healthy, it sure would be a shame to just let it die ...... are you *sure* you don't want it. I'm giving away it's big container and trellis, too. :-)

Carla

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

((((((((Waving frantically!!!!!))))) Me...me..me I would love to just have a piece of it Carla. We could split it at the RU I bet.

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

It's yours, Sheila. I bought the plant on a whim this spring. It was small and blooming like crazy. Now it's huge and robust and a real charmer. You're going to love it.

Debbie, I've rooted cuttings of it, so I'll give that to you instead. (You're going to kick yourself and be endlessly jealous of Sheila when you see the MFV though ....) :-)

Carla

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

Carla could you save me a start ...;....

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I will definately share it, thanks!

Arlington, TX
