SOLVED: An easy one - I think

Hi all-

I took a cutting of from a friend. I don't know what it is, except a flowering vine which roots easily. If I could get an ID on it, I could probably give it a good home.

And here is more of a closeup.

Suzy, a quick glance suggests Clerodendrum thomsoniae but I may be way off base on this one. Any more information on the flowers?

I'm on my way to look closer, but at a fast glance of
the first one, I was thinking Clematis. Be right back after I look.

It's a Clematis - look at the stem - see where the tendrils are that fasten the plant to its support?

Well what a Happy Thanksging present! Beats arguing with my kids to clean up their stuff for company!

Thank you, Kay & Wuvie. I was concerned it wasn't a clematis because it rooted so easily and the other clematises I tried didn't. Also, the foliage has always looked a little different. More olive green than green. Well, that's good news and I know exactly how it should spend the winter -- on the edge of my big leaf pile.
