can u root azelia bushes from a cutting?

Portland, OR(Zone 8a)

HI, I'm new here too...I am hoping you are asking about Azalea...I have sucessfully rooted Azaleas by taking softwood cuttings. I dip it in rooting hormore and put it in my seed starting set-up (heating mat, grow light and plastic cover). I do not let them dry out and I check for rooting in 2 weeks ( a gentle tug...if there is any resistance you know you have roots), I then pot it up and get it to my cold frame...out of the hot sun... by September. It will spend the winter in my cold frame getting watered as needed and then into the garden or nursery bed in the spring. Hope this helps, Dee
