I was browsing the site thinking that I want to put my photo of this 'creature' on when I saw your pic. Am I right inassuming that you found it in a wash tub or the kitchen sink. I have only seen this thing twice. Do you know anything more about it?

countrymouse, this little creature was found in leaf litter in a forested reserve in Australia, by an expert on millipedes who was leading a field outing in our area. They are litter decomposers and it is very unlikely that one of these would be found in a wash tub. Attach your photo of the one you found to a reply and I will look at what it might be,
