my sister just gave this to me cause i like old stuff,
its a rca victor radio model number 29k2
dose anyone have any history on it

I googled this: http://www.antiqueradioschematics.org/rca.htm all I did was paste in it's name & model number and got a whole page of stuff.

You've got an awesome sister!! That radio is so nice! It can probably be made to play like new again too.

Probably 'cause of your zip code. Up here you would get every kind of country & bluegrass that you never knew there was.... You need to look up the am radio stations in your area and figure out a selection. My Grandad cut tiny thin slivers of colored tape and put them on the display so that he could easily change between his favorite stations. It just looked like blue pen marks over "his" stations.

on all my other radios i get everything, this only have
wor, wjz,wgy,wtry,woko,and waby, but will give that a try

Might be that one of your booster tubes is out and it only boosts in a narrow range of what it receives. I'm talking way over my head here, but it seems "fixable". You might just need to call around to different repairmen to see if one can help you.

it really needs a good cleaning,not sure where she had it setting ,from the looks the garage, im going to start cleaning it i see some lose wires hanging but all the tubes is lit up/
