maiden's hair

Oklahoma City, OK

Does anyone know what the plant is used for the maiden with the long green hair. The same plant is hanging in the suculent section with the Christmas cactus photo of Kat's container garden. Thanks, Linda

I CANT REMEMBER THE NAME OF THAT PLANT BUT LOWE'S CARRYS IT. ITS NOT IN THE GARDEN CENTER BUT THE SECTION THAT HOUSES THE INDOOR PLANTS. IT SELLS FOR $19.99. LOWES SELLS "EXOTIC ANGEL" PLANTS AND I THINK IT WAS ONE OF THEM.

The common name is "Donkey's tail or Burro's tail". They can grow quite long. I have a neighbor who has a hanging basket of it with the "tails" more than 5 feet long. You can usually find them at Lowe's stores here in Texas, but don't know about Ok.

Sorry, my mistake. That plant is the man's hair, not the maiden's. I'm not sure what that one is.
