Echinaca pallida X Echinacea purpurea

Check out my cross of Echinacea pallida and Echinacea purpurea! The blooms and the leaves are both wavy and curly. I'll post a picture of the leaves later. A good thing about this plant is it doesn't get fungus like Pallida when it rains too much. I like the way the blooms have the darker pink in the middle too.

Neat. I like the darker colored ring near the center also. It gives the bloom a uniqueness.

I think I'm starting to prefer Paradoxa and Pallida to the other forms of Echinacea. They seem to never get Aster Yellows. I've never seen one with that disease. Have you?

I've heard of Aster Yellows, but don't think I've ever seen it.....yet. I like them all when they're doing well and get a bit frustrated/discouraged when they're not.

How beautiful. Love it!
