palmbob's Journal: A arb yellow teeth suckering Aloe arborescens probably front lawn

  • Status: planted in ground at new home

Initial Notes:

Got this in Ojai... no idea what it is. Planted it in very center of planter 3 east edge, where bird cage used to sit. Hope doesn't end up being a monster, but I guess I can always cut it back.

just getting too large for a really nice, showy spot, so ripped out and planted up front against the west fence in the lawn, very northwest corner of yard.

plant is getting nice and tall and obviously is aloe arborescens... but seems to be making a yellow flower.. .which is really odd as i am sure it made a red flower in the middle of the summer about 18 months ago... weird!
