AA trading with fel
Trading rules:
I am all in favor of trading plants, but please consider the following before initiating a trade:
1.I will not trade for postage, for things I don't want, or trade valuable plants for very plentiful/inexpensive ones. Let's try to be fair! I work full-time, have children, etc. and cannot afford to pack up and ship plants for free.
2. For cuttings, often I don't have them in stock (I am just a person, not a nursery). Ask me to take a cutting of a hydrangea, and I am glad to do so. Then, in 4 weeks or so, we can do a trade.
3. If you have something I really want (hardy orchids, chinese aroids, species peonies, etc.) I might be willing to trade things not on my list. So try me.
4. So few people will trade shrubs/woody plants. I have some ready to trade, but often cannot find "takers". Keep in mind if I have a big shrub, I am not going to want to ship it for something less valuable than my shipping price. That just doesn't make sense!

Thanks and happy trading.
Seeds
Japanese Maple
Acer palmatum

cuttings only -- so far hasn't rooted
'Butterfly' Cuttings
Actaea Species
Actaea racemosa

seedlings. Started out with named cultivars but these have all bred together in my garden. Mine never did have purple leaves as expected by cultivars -- I guess they were in too much shade.
Plants
Ajuga
Ajuga reptans
'Bronze Beauty' Plants
Allium Species
Allium tuberosum

Anemone

Somewhat limited supply
'Whirlwind' Plants Image
(fel)
Eriocapitella
Anemone hupehensis

These are wild pollinated seedlings but should come true. Also have interesting seedheads and burgundy foliage in fall.
'pink saucer' Plants

Anthurium amnicola
I have one division to trade. I grow this as a house plant, and put it outside all summer. It blooms continuously. ( out for now, 2014)
'small pink flowers' Plants
Aquilegia
Aquilegia

(none for 2015) I offer small seedlings. I have many many bigger plants, but find the smaller ones transplant better. Note that my columbines almost always lose all foliage when transplanted, but for me they always come back from roots.
'McKana's Giant' Seeds, Plants
Aquilegia
Aquilegia vulgaris

(none for 2015)
wild pollinated seedlings -- offering ones in which variegation came true
'Leprechaun Gold' Plants
Arisaema Species
Arisaema fargesii

Have one plant to trade for similarly rare arisaema. May also have seeds, but need to see in a few months.

late-summer/fall is best time to trade these with me.
'Caravan' Plants

Can do cuttings -- sometimes I have divisions, but best to ask early summer.
'Marmaduke' Plants, Cuttings Image

'Morocco' Plants
Begonia
Begonia

Have a few rooted small plants.
'Red Planet' Plants
Begonia Species
Begonia grandis

Spreads well when it is a damp year.
Plants
Begonia Species
Begonia maculata var. wightii

I just got this from Scott Arboretum. May be able to root it at some point.
Cuttings
Blackberry Lily
Belamcanda chinensis
'Freckle Face' Plants
Brunnera Species
Brunnera macrophylla

striking flowers -- more true blue than some other cultivars, and foliage holds up better. I prefer the species to "Jack frost". I also have wild pollinated seedlings that show white speckling on the leaves, but have the hardiness of the species.
Plants
Brunnera
Brunnera macrophylla

I have seedlings with Jack Frost type coloring.
'Jack Frost' Plants
Chaenomeles
Chaenomeles

'Cameo' Plants
Chaenomeles
Chaenomeles x superba

In a mild winter (z7a) bloomed thru Nov. and then started again in late Feb. Does have thorns. Also -- these grow real quinces (haven't tasted them yet).
'Crimson & Gold' Plants
Chrysogonum Species
Chrysogonum virginianum
Plants

Clematis
'Anna German' Plants
Clematis
Clematis

I actually have Anna German, but it is not listed on this database.

self seeds. Mine has whitish flowers, very small.
Plants
Clethra Species

Have self-seeding shrubs
Plants
Clethra
Clethra Alnifolia

Note that this cultivar is not bright pink -- it is subtle. Attracts lots of bees and wasps
'Fern Valley Pink' Plants, Cuttings Image
(fel)
Clivia Species
Clivia miniata

Orange.
I overwinter these in the house. The last one's roots grew so thick it broke open it's clay pot. Now I have 4... Mine are large -- unless trading for something pretty large, I might want to be reimbursed for shipping. If you are local to Phila., all the better. Also these are pretty valuable and special so trade accordingly.
Plants
Convallaria Species
Convallaria majuscula
Plants
Cornus
Cornus florida

Right now I have cuttings but don't know how to root
'Cherokee Sunset' Cuttings
Red Twig Dogwood
Cornus sericea

2 1-ft high seedlings. Nice red stems
'Arctic Fire' Plants
Corydalis Species
Corydalis cheilanthifolia

seeds, sometimes plants. My version has paler yellow flowers, but foliage looks as pictured.
