This is a Lake’s Bolete, or Suillus lakei we came across in the redwood forests of Northern California. The orangish gold hues stands out immensely in the brown detritus of the forest floor.
This is a patch of Cheilymenia fimicola or eyelash fungi, I came across these on the coast of Northern California. They’re extremely small, for reference you can use the blade of grass in the photograph.
I'm not sure what kind of seed this is, but it has plenty of personality!
