Spanish Bar Cake

4 cups of water
2 cups raisons
1 cup margarine
4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 cup chopped walnuts

Boil raisons in water 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add margarine to hot raisons and water. Let cool.
Combine all dry ingredients and add to cooled raisin mixture.. Blend well. Add eggs and nuts mixing after each addition.
Bake in a well greased 9x13 pan at 350 degrees F for 45 to 55 minutes.
Ice with Cream Cheese Icing
Cream Cheese Icing
1 brick of cream cheese
1/4 cup margarine
1/2 tsp vanilla
icing sugar
Mix all ingredients till you reach desired consistancy.
