  Extra Notes
Growing up as a kid every Christmas time the smell of this bread makes your mouth water smelling it baking in the oven. we always made an extra loaf to eat right out of the oven. my father taught my mother how to make it was passed on from his mother, her mother and every Quaranta mother before her. hence Quaranta bread.
this is the first time it has been put down on paper.(took a while) add a little this a little that. we did start out making our own dough from scratch but with the times we now buy the frozen bread dough from the store. this is the small version when i make this bread i have to make it for 8 loaves plus. for everyone who has ever had it wants their own loaf to take home. enjoy and be careful who you let taste.
