Chocolate Zucchini Cake

1/2 c. margarine, softened
1/2 c. canola oil
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 c. pecans
2 c. zucchini, unpeeled and finely diced

1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Cream the margarine with the oil and sugar. Slowly beat in eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk. In a separate bowl combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder cinnamon and cloves. Slowly beat this into the creamed mixture. Add the 1/4 c. chopped nuts and zucchini, blend in well.

Pour batter into a lightly greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle 1/2 c. of chocolate chips and 1/2 c. chopped
pecans on top and bake at 325'F for 40 to 45 minutes or until cake tests done.

Cut into18 squares.
