Identification help: - Large, gray, abdominal pattern of dark dashes on segments is distinctive, at least in eastern United States--see photos.
Triorla interrupta's range is - across southern United States. Noted findings from Arizona, California, New Mexico, Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Illinois, Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida.
Habitat:Typically open, grassy areas
Triorla interrupta is predatory.... Often it takes very large insect prey, such as grasshoppers, dragonflies, horseflies.
