Pine Sawyer Beetle

I live in Northern California near Berkeley and these Pine Sawyers beetles live in the Monterey Pines.

we found this (Pine Sawyer, I think) on the driveway in the hills of Oakland, CA -- apparently crushed, but still alive.

Found in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico on 10/03/2007

A 3 Inch Beetle found in a fir, pine log pile.

Found outside our door in Surprise, Arizona! Never seen anything like it! Must have been transported in?

came across this at 9pm in San Simeon CA..about the length of my wallet, looks as if he was injured on front left leg.!!!
