I see this hummingbird is found in Equador, but I’m sure it is also in the US? I saw one with it’s amazing coloring flitting about the 12-foot blooming stalk of my Agave Filifera. The hummingbird was too fast for my slow camera reaction, but I’m positive this is what we saw. We were so taken with the unusually beautiful coloring, that when we opened the Dave’s Garden article we knew it was the bird we had seen.
