'Palais Royal' is more commonly known as 'White Eden'. It is a sport of 'Eden' (aka 'Pierre De Ronsard') that is fully white or mostly white except for a slight tinge of pink in cooler parts of the year. The growth and bloom are near identical to the regular 'Eden'. The bloom can vary more and open up more into a cupped shape than a globular shape that the regular 'Eden' traditionally has. Like 'Eden', 'White Eden' is very slow to establish growth and a diverse root network. The rose will need at least 3 years before it is able to spring long canes and "climb." Only two blooms in 1st year of planting, followed by numerous repeating blooms in 2nd year. This rose desires your patience and will reward you.

This climber has vigorous growth habit and is disease resistance. It is supposedly white bu tI have only seen it with pink tones. Evidently in cooler weather the blooms can have a light pink hue.

White Eden is a sport of Eden.
