Started Wild Spike from seed, very easy. Germinated very quickly on heat. Planted them inlarge containers that are in part sun (early afternoon). Since I am in Zone 5 they will not survive our winter. I plan to bring them in and keep they as a house plant. They do love lots of water. Glad I grew them as they are very different and really cool. Very expensive to buy at the garden center, grow your own and impress your gardener friends.
