Grown from seed 2005 by Gerardus Adrianus Maria Zuidgeest in The Netherlands, patented 2012 in the U.S. (USPP 22954 P2).
Albuca spiralis is a fragrant winter growing bulb from the winter rainfall areas of South Africa, it is not frost hardy. It goes dormant in summer after flowering. This cultivar is billed as growing faster and having more strongly spiraled leaves than the species.
