The trade name of this exceptionally fragrant rose was chosen to emphasize its fragrance by evoking the perfume. "Nahema" (the rose) was introduced in 1991. Nahema (the perfume) was introduced by Guerlain in 1979.

This rose is hardy enough to perform well as a climber in Z5.

Its cultivar name is 'DELeri'. "Nahema" is a proprietary trade name.

A fragrant climber with delicate almond/pink tones, velvety cupped double petals with a perfume of citrus, peach apricot, pear and rose. The renown perfume of Guerlain is based on the essence of this rose. Nahema™repeat flowers well and is easily trained along a fence line. Extremely hardy, and very good disease resistance.
