Single peonies are hard to find around here. This one was worth the search. Prolific bloomer, bright white with golden centre, remains upright even with full weight of blooms, small, compact, and a bee magnet. Love, love, love it!

In forty years of gardening, I don't think I have ever been quite as thrilled by a plant as by this one this year. Twelve of the most beautiful blossoms at one time, and the blossoms unlike other peonies -- not even like my other single peonies. Of course, it took five years before it happened, but it was worth it.

A very pretty peony - beautiful golden center.

Best as a mature plant - give it time!
