One of the most beautiful of all Heliconias. We have a couple of plants in our yard which were recently transplanted from where we lived before. Hoping to see soon our first blooms since the move....

This is my favorite of all the Heliconias- incredible pink coloration, and grown all over Hawaii (and never labeled... too me forever to finally identify this species). ARe a lot of varieties of this species in various colors, but pendant, loose shape always the same. Flowers have a glaucous dusting on them and very soft to touch. Sea green leaves tend to be arching down and split in many places.
