Wonderfully colored suckering fan palm from the American tropics.. this palm has nearly pale blue leaves (pale green in younger plants) in full sun. The stems have sparse, short spines and the roots are an incredible orange color which is striking in comparison to the color of the trunk. The leaves are fairly stiff and deeply split, but do droop a bit at the edges, especially in the younger offshoots. Very tropical in its needs.
