This tree is planted by my mailbox - full Atlanta sun, heat and drought - and has grown to the point I have to keep it trimmed every year. The flowers have not been very attractive but I think that is because I didn't give it any extra water. I didn't know. I started watering the Clethra alnifolia (close by) and am hoping the witchhazel will bloom better this winter. It is about 6 or 7 feet tall and very full.

I keep it trimmed because it looks like it is falling over when too tall but as this description says "lombart's weeping" maybe that is what it is supposed to do. I will post a pix today if I can.
