Of the scores of perennials I grow, this is my favorite!

This beautiful, long-blooming plant has performed excellently for me for the past 12 years. It gets morning shade and afternoon sun/shade. The only problem I have had was with a borer in the stems 3 years ago. I have used a pesticide application just before it blooms and have not had the borer reoccur.

I would like to try dividing this plant, but have hesitated since I have found it hard to locate for purchase.
