May 13, 2002. Just about done blooming. Putting on lots of new growth.

May 2002...growing like crazy!

Doesn't the bloom look a little like spider eyes?

April 14th, 2003 - northern zone 6

Chocolate Vine in my garden in Victoria, Australia, September 1996. Note the different male and female flowers (one female in the bottom left corner)

Hard to notice, but striking flowers up close

The best part of the plant. The fruit of Akebia quinata and cultivar 'Shirobana' shown.

The Alba blooms earlier here where I live

Blooming good with half a day sun.
