Zephyranthes Species, Citron Zephyr Lily, Yellow Rain Lily (Zephyranthes citrina)

I have put the bulbs in an old shoe.

The sulfur rain lily (Zephyranthes citrina, Zephyranthes sulphurea) has an intense yellow bloom which does not fade as some rain lily blooms do. It bloomed shortly after being planted in May

The Zephyranthes citrina seedpod (seed pod) has three chambers as shown here. Each chamber contains many flat, papery, black seeds.

Flowers are borne straight up on the flower stalk.

Stamens are of equal length. (Habranthus spp have stamens of unequal lengths).

Pod looks like it has 3 round seeds.They are actually flat seeds.
