These very old specimens at Hampton Court Palace were originally clipped as tight cones in a formal garden design.
This restored garden at Hampton Court Palace uses yews as formal accents. The original planting of Yews can be seen in the top right corner.
English Yews are clipped as a hedge around this sunken garden at Hampton Court Palace. They also form a niche for the sculpture at the rear.
Can get quite large.
