'Black Gamecock' starting to bloom in May.
First blooms of the season, Mother's Day weekend 2006 in Northeastern Oklahoma. Louisiana Black Gamecock Iris.
Growing in half shade, Zone 8.
I'm growing this in a pot with no holes and the plant certainly likes it here.
It survived and remained green during the cold and snow of our winter. It seems to be doing fine in the heat, as well.
The colors are amazing.
