Oxalis tetraphylla, Sweden

pot of six plants just received as gift-looking forward to enjoying the good luck!

Three bulbs are tetraphylla instead of tetraphylla 'Iron Cross'. Those leaves show just an uneven black line at the outer edge of the black area of the 'Iron Cross'.

Marvellous foliage and brightly delightful blooms! I have this everywhere.....

I planted the bulbs and in a week I had fully formed leaves and flowers. Rio de Janeiro, mid winter.

This is one Oxalis bulb with many baby bulbs around it, the turnip type root is a moisture reserve, just before winter storage.

Beautiful foliage... I'm going to put it in a pot. Very invasive I'm told!

Cute little flowers!

I love this little plant when I bought it the box said Bermuda Buttercups and then on the side of the box it says Oxalis. Also they popped up in a weeks time.

I got this from a friend in England and planted the bulbs within a month. It's already up, 7 weeks.

My first flower. 13th Aug, 2011. Posting the same day. Bulbs gifted to me by a friend from England. Glad it is doing well so far!

The edible tuberous taproots of Oxalis deppei. They are juicy and have mild sweetish taste and indistinct lemon flavour when raw. Oxalis tetraphylla (a separate, similar species) creates smaller roots
