Physalis franchettii Gigantea 30.8.2002

This is where it all begins... picture taken 8.5.2002 - The plant was planted only one year ago, and it was very small. So you can imagine how fast it grows and spreads in a good place!

Found this dense bush loaded with the husky fruits in Cape Canaveral, Florida (Zone 10a). This had been scanned from a 35-mm 4"X6" print.

Chinese Lantern? The only one I've seen.

The photo was made at the edge of a wood near Sochi at the end of October, 2008.

Chinese Lantern in winter. Even with a light snow, and lots of rain, the skeletons persist.

I'am glad i got mine in a Pot

Physalis alkekengi in the process of taking over my yard. This is the result of one seed planted a few years ago, even after pulling dozens of shoots.
