just got this plant at sale last week... was sure it was some hybrid or misnamed since never heard of it... but what a great plant!

This is an example documented Hawortthia kingiana (endangered) ex Steve Hammer. The plant is rare in cultivation. Further multiheaded specimen are very rare in the type location.
I found this one in a two inch pot, in friend's greenhouse. Happy confiscation.
slow very small. Note the plant 'toe' (inside leaf surface) has no markings. This is characteristic 'key' for kingiana
