Pink Wood Sorrel (Oxalis articulata subsp. rubra)

Close up of Pink Oxalis blooms

Oxalis cheer up a border, but boom profusely only in cool weather in San Antonio, Texas.

Growing in mostly shade and in a moist location, these oxalis are thriving and spreading slowly.

Same patch of oxalis, from farther back; they make a lovely footing for the azaleas in back.

A beautiful gift of nature.

This just popped up in my garden - don't remember planting it but what a nice surprise.

The pink oxalis are just starting to bloom again in the middle of February. Their delicate blooms provide cheerful color while the other perennials are waiting for warmer weather to emerge.(San Antonio, Tx.)

These are giving a gorgeous May Day showing.

Grows profusly along the Bayou, and in protected areas of our yard. Sunny spots bloom first, then shady spots.

A single flower with the large cloverlike leaves.

This is naturalized in my yard peeking out of every dark corner. This would be great for a rock garden.

Lovely spring flowering perennial.

A plentiful "weed" in my garden. It is futile to try to pull them all up, so I just enjoy them where ever they want to grow.

A ladybug visited the oxalis in Kinston, NC.

Ilove this plant. It does well in my climate in partial shade and near a dripper as it likes to be moist.
