Canna Lily 'Tropicanna' (Canna x generalis)

The leaves first come out very red/pink tinged and as they get older they become more yellow.

Canna 'Tropicanna' (also known as 'Phaison') can also be grown as an aquatic.

This is my favorite canna.

ahhh, the foliage.

The flower is a beautiful flaming orange and really looks great with the colorful foliage.

This plant is a bold statement in a garden. It gets quite tall. Very easy to care for and quickly multiplies.

Young Tropicana canna growing in Northcentral Florida, zone 8b. Lots of foliage but no flowers due to cool, rainy and cloudy weather all summer.

Cannas acting as a wind screen behind the pond.

The colorful leaves alone are enough reason to grow it!

A tender new Tropicanna canna leaf has emerged to greet the world. It will develop color variations as it matures. (San Antonio, Tx.)
