My red Pentas bush in the ground, third season, did cover it when temps down to freezing only getting tip damage. Now stands over five feet tall.

Another favorite tall Penta is the bright pink. I cut this down after frost damage in March and now over three feet tall again. Love these flowers.

I took this picture just after I bought them, they' have really increased in size
